BOOM! Our Botanical Garden has finally come to life. Months of blood, sweat and tears have paid off as our distillery played host to the launch of our Botanical Garden and Limited Edition Melissa Lemon Balm Gin!
As would be expected at any kind of party hosted by us, there were plenty of G&T’s to be had, however we started the night with the star of the show, our beloved new Melissa Gin, served as a ‘Melissa Collins’ cocktail created especially for us by head bartender at Sager + Wilde Restaurant,
Stephen Pennack. A mixture of Benedictine, lemon juice, bee pollen syrup and of course our very own Melissa Gin, topped with soda water, proved that there’s more to gin than just mixing it with tonic for the less traditionalist of you out there (although it is still epic with tonic…)!
Our guests were immersed in our fabulous Warner Edwards world as we hosted a cocktail masterclass in our brand new ‘Tack Room Bar’ before jumping on board the tractor trailer to take a tour of the terraced fields and see the abundance of natural springs our farm has to offer.
Alistair Peak, our acclaimed garden designer then joined me to get our horticultural hats on to unveil our blooming beautiful botanical garden! Inspired by my very own mother, Adèle, who was a keen gardener herself, it gave me huge pride to share with all our fantastic guests our amazing transformation. Craft is and always will be at the very heart of our business. Innovation and authentic flavour creation is our passion and the introduction of our botanical garden has given us so much potential to expand our flavours and even more to share with our fans and on our increasingly popular ‘Curiosity Tour’!
The rest of the evening played host to Rhys our singer and guitarist, whilst our good friend and Chef Joe Buckley from our local pub, the Tollemache Arms, provided us with food fit for a king! Joe’s menu took inspiration and even ingredients from our botanical garden, my personal favourite…. the rhubarb and custard donuts!
In the words of The Four Seasons ‘Oh What A Night!’ Our Warner Edwards troops have turned their hand to all sorts of trades, we’ve been gardeners, carpenters, decorators, builders and everything else in between! All the hard work has paid off as W.E. welcome our new Botanical Garden range and the first botanical beauty, our Limited Edition Melissa Lemon Balm Gin.
A massive thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us.
United in Spirit!

As the temperature drops & the winds start to pick up we’re starting to see those long summer days turning into autumn and the glorious changing colours that come with it…the farm really does look epic at this time of year! The hedgerows have a large amount of fruit & seed, much to our delight! We’ve been busy harvesting sloe berries around the farm & have been asking our fans to do the same! On Sunday 30th September, between 11am & 5pm, we want our fans to come to Falls Farm for our annual Sloe Swap (and get the chance to take a look around the distillery!). All you need to do is bring your frozen sloe berry harvest to the farm on the day & we’ll give you some of our fruity Harrington Sloe Gin in return! Find out more information here.> MORE Read more

In the UK we use over 12.5million tonnes of paper and cardboard every year, and when it takes ONE tree to make 230 average sized newspapers/magazines, that’s a lot of trees! Global estimates suggest 4 billion trees are chopped down every year for paper and card production. Thankfully in the UK the majority of timber is sourced through sustainable timber production: silviculture. However, this is not always the case elsewhere.> MORE Read more

London's relationship with Gin can be traced all the way back to 1688 when William of Orange (a Dutch Monarch) made himself comfy on the English Throne.
