HR Coordinator

Part-time, office-based, 20 hours per week, flexible time. 


Salary: £28,000.00 to £32,000.00 /year, pro-rata

Assisting us to lead our HR programmes and polices including all employee communications, compensation, benefits, rewards, professional growth, safety, staffing levels and performance management. The salary stated would be pro-rated to the hours worked.


  • Degree educated with CIPD or equivalent qualification with 5 years or more experience held in a HR related position
  • Exceptional Communication skills and good at building relationships
  • Experience of dealing with sometimes challenging matters
  • Ability to represent the HR function as part of the bigger picture
  • Demonstrable experience in managing all day to day relevant HR projects
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals
  • Ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times in a professional manner
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook and relevant applications
  • Own transport essential


  • Reporting Directly into the owners of the business. Embody and live our Warner Edwards Team culture
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Administer all HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment, letters etc.
  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
  • Updating all holidays and absentee’s records within the HR database
  • Manage the recruitment process for all company areas, including drafting of job specs and engaging with executive search and recruitment agencies
  • Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
  • Helping draw up plans for future personnel needs
  • Oversea and Manage induction of new employees
  • Providing and monitoring staff training and development programmes
  • Facilitating yearly appraisals and general performance management
  • Counselling staff about any problems they may have, either at work or personally
  • Oversee employee services such as Health & Safety
  • Assist in team building and social activities
  • Advising management on matters like pay negotiation, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy programmes, equal opportunities policy and employment law
  • Updating Company Handbook and ensuring all employees are aware of company policies
